Short Bio: Amber McCain is a Black screenwriter hailing from Atlanta, GA. Before pursuing an MFA in Screenwriting at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television, she received an MBA from Georgia State University. Her intention is to participate in the conversation around identity and the human condition within her writing.

Logline #1: TOUCH - Half Hour Dramedy - A woman in the midst of financial strain turns to professional cuddling to make ends meet, but the emotional demands of her clients force her to contend with her own mental health.
Logline #2: THE FLEA - Half Hour Comedy - When gentrification seeks to upend life as they know it, the merchants of a flea market engage in a war against the duplicitous actions of a developer seeking to take over the market’s co-op board.
Logline #3: WEATHERING - Drama Feature - When her sister passes away during childbirth, a lawyer takes on the neglectful hospital responsible for her death.
