Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Julian became a mentee of Lena Waithe. Julian graduated from UCLA’s Professional Writers Program – TV Track. In the fall of 2018, she started her MFA in Screenwriting at UCLA and interned for Greg Berlanti Productions in 2019. She was tapped to be the Writers’ Production Assistant on Fox’s PRODIGAL SON. She has placed in several writing contests including placing in the top 20% for the prestigious Nicholl Fellowship for an action-fantasy feature. She is a 2020 finalist for two major industry fellowships (results still pending). She is repped by a fantastic manager and entertainment attorney. She has gained traction in selling DIVISION I, a drama series inspired by her time as a full scholarship Division One athlete.
