Short Bio: NatashaJoyce is a second-year MFA Screenwriting student at UCLA. Before graduate school, she earned a B.A. in theatre, and went on to work for the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. She was raised in Annapolis, Maryland, and often finds herself writing stories set in her home state. When she’s not writing, she enjoys exploring the hiking trails of Southern California and dancing.
Short Artist Statement:What makes a place home? How is the changing climate effecting the way we live? I write TV Drama and features about the environment and people’s relationship with land. I’m influenced by the place I grew up – its landscapes, traditions and communities.
