Short Bio: Matt Jennings is a writer from the Inland Empire. He loves writing so much, he took out enough loans to cover a year’s worth of salary to study it at UC San Diego. After working various jobs--English tutor, copywriter, marketing assistant--he decided to double down on his educational investment and hone his craft. Now he attends the Screenwriting MFA at UCLA. Matt’s screenplays often deal with social or cultural criticism and explore the experiences of America’s underprivileged. He hopes his stories encourage others to reconsider their differences and reflect on their own roles in perpetuating hegemony. When Matt isn’t writing, he’s usually playing video games and berating himself for not writing.
