Short Bio: I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I experienced firsthand much of the social clashes that happen every day in this country. I was raised by my two mothers, who worked to keep my life stable despite my conservative father’s effort. That dynamic, along with extensive anxiety in my teenage years, informs my work now. My goal now is to create work that satisfies the escapism I constantly felt in need of when I was with my father, while also conveying the relief of home my mothers gave me.
