Short Bio: Born and raised in small town Texas I always had plenty of time to daydream and imagine I was hidden royalty or destined for a life at sea as a swashbuckling pirate. You can imagine my disappointment at being neither of those things. So I became the next best thing: a writer.
Short Artist Statement: I love to write dark comedy, full of wit and unique characters. As each new story unfolds I find diving into the unpredictable, impossible, and outrageous leads to pieces that are both daring and authentic.
Logline #1: SO HELP ME GOD - TV Show - After witnessing the tragic death of her mother, Chesney, a devout catholic school girl, strikes a deal with the Devil: bring her mother back and in return he can have her pristine soul. But as her relationship with darkness deepens she discovers her mother’s death was no accident, and the culprit is closer than she thinks.
Logline #2: THE SISTERS OF BROADASH - Feature - In a small 1735 English village ghastly rumors of the Broadash sisters circulate to the point of hysteria. Not only were their deaths brutal, their brother serves as a human blood bag for their bloodlust in the afterlife. Vampires are ravaging the town, but Eliza Satterwhite, town barber(surgeon), has a different hypothesis: they aren’t vampires, but rather carriers of a virus that spreads via bites or scratches. In a mad dash to save herself and the town Eliza must prove her theory and her worth as barber(surgeon).
