Short Bio: Katie Adams is a screenwriter specializing in dark female-centric stories. Before coming to UCLA, she studied film at Stanford University, dabbled in maritime archaeology, and grew up in the town of Big Bear Lake, which left her with the deep belief that mountain resort gothic should be a genre and a lot to write about. She won the One Hour TV Pilot category of Showcase in 2020 for her pilot Thimblerig and the Feature Comedy category in 2019 for A Portrait of the Serial Killer as a Young Woman.
